Blade Outlaw Snowmobiles
by Nick for Snowmobile Style
Blade Outlaw Snowmobile It’s a breath of fresh air to see a snowmobile manufacturer consistently working on new ideas year after year, especially when it’s not one of the big four manufacturers (Polaris, Arctic Cat, Ski-Doo and Yamaha). It’s even more refreshing to see the ideas re-define snowmobile consumer standards and be adopted by every manufacturer. Blade Snowmobiles is that breath of fresh air and those new ideas include…
- Forward carb engine orientation (1998, Arctic Cat and Yamaha followed)
- Gearbox to replace chains (1998, Arctic Cat and Ski-Doo followed)
- Hand Gators (1998, Arctic-Cat, Ski-Doo and Polaris followed)
- Shaft mounted braking (1998, Arctic Cat liked the idea too)
The Blade Outlaw features a 1640cc V-Twin engine capable of 115 horsepower at 6000rpm and HTD direct drive system to power the track. A RAD and M-10B combination form the front and rear suspension setup and the Blade Outlaw snowmobile weighs in at 475lbs.
I expect big things from Blade in the coming years, very big.
