2011 Yamaha Apex EFI

Yamaha Snowmobiles are built with performance in mind and this 2011 Yamaha Apex EFI Fuel Injected sled is no exception. It has power steering, an electric start and reverse gear for easy handling. This model also came with a high performance 4-cylinder Genesis 4-Stroke engine however this particular model has received valve timing, intake and exhaust tuning to perform in midrange conditions, such as on mountain trails. The result is exceptional throttle response and improved fuel efficiency. Of course no Yamaha Apex sled is complete without a Camoplast ripsaw track to accelerate through the snow with style, snowmobile style.

Every once in a while you come across something that is both precious and fantastic, that just happened to me when I first watched this 1960s Vintage Snowmobile Video Footage. It looks like this vintage sled footage is from late 1965 or 1966 judging by the Snojet snowmobiles and the white hooded OMC. The vintage sled video footage also has some great scenes of front powered Bolens snowmobiles as well as countless now classic cars lining the road to see the vintage snowmobile races.

Snowmobile windshield – safety dictates that you see where you’re riding at all times when on the snowmobile trails, make sure your windshield is up to the task of keeping you safe. Snowmobile Tracks

Used snowmobile tracks available for several different applications including racing tracks, trail tracks and Camoplast tracks, take a look. Snowmobile tracks wear out like most parts that move on your sled, don’t get caught out in the cold with worn tracks this winter.

Snowmobile Suspension

by Nick for SnowmobileStyle.com

Snowmobile performance can be gauged by the sum of its parts and performance snowmobile suspension components are a popular upgrade amongst snowmobile enthusiasts. Why? Because that white powdery stuff can be just as unforgiving as regular blacktop at times and when it is a good suspension system is important.
